An evening celebrating womanhood – loud, colourful, and completely theirs
Raja Festival, celebrated widely across Odisha, honours womanhood through three days of joy, tradition, and festivity and also marks the onset of monsoon
On this occasion, iServeU, with Axis Bank‘s support, hosted a special in-house Raja celebration on the evening of 12th June 2026, bringing its women employees together for a joyful fiesta.
The evening centered around two much-awaited highlights – the Raja Queen Contest and the Fashion Show – both drawing enthusiastic participation from across teams.
The celebrations began with mehendi and nail art sessions that set a festive mood early on, with employees showcasing their creativity and intricate artistry. The women employees also enjoyed grooving to lively dance performances that kept the spirit of the celebration alive.
Adding to the festive set up, a traditional Raja Poda Pitha and Raja Panaa platter was on display – a nod to the authentic flavours and customs that make Raja one of Odisha’s most cherished festivals.
The competitive segments were a highlight in themselves. The Blindfold Makeup Competition brought equal parts laughter and skill to the event, while the Rangoli Competition showcased imagination and creativity, with entries that drew on tradition while reflecting individual expression. The highlight of the evening was the ramp walk – confident, stylish, and full of personality.
By the time the Raja Queen was crowned, it was clear that the real winner was the evening itself – loud, warm, and completely unwilling to end.
