iServeU, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, Cuttack, organised a blood donation camp at its premises, bringing employees from across departments together in support of a cause that goes well beyond the workplace. More than 72 employees stepped forward to donate 70 units of blood over the course of the drive.
The camp was set up with support from medical professionals of the Indian Red Cross Society. They guided donors through the process and ensured the drive ran smoothly and safely from start to finish. For many first-time donors among the staff, the experience was reassuring. A small act on their part could mean a great deal for someone in need.
Blood donation camps such as this one reflect an aspect of workplace culture that iServeU continues to build on: one where employees are encouraged to look beyond their day-to-day roles and contribute to the communities around them. Every unit collected on the day will go toward supporting patients who depend on timely blood transfusions, from accident victims to those undergoing surgery or long-term treatment.
